Meet the butcher Daniel Barnett has lived here on the property where the shop sets for 30 years. He is a avid outdoors man and being in the outdoors is where he feels at home. Hunting, fishing and trapping for years has become a way of life here on the farm. Cooking and smoking meat is what he enjoys. Daniel process all his own meats and has for many years. We now raise Herford Hogs and are processing our own. Hogs have been a part of past life growing up so knowing his way around the hog is nothing new for him.
Daniel will always do his very best to make you happy with the meat you get here at The Backwoods Butcher.
